Care of mugs and ceramic products

Fan ceramic mugs are extremely popular as both corporate gifts and personal items. In order for these mugs to retain their original quality and vivid design for a long time, it is worth paying attention to the correct cleaning and care methods.

Machine wash

As a first step, it is recommended to check whether the mug is microwaveable and dishwasher safe - this is usually indicated on the bottom of the product or on its packaging.

If the manufacturer allows it, machine washing is a quick and convenient solution, but it is always worth choosing a gentle program to prevent premature wear of the pattern. However, if the mug is not dishwasher-friendly, then stick to traditional hand washing.

Hand wash

When hand washing, clean the surface of ceramic products with lukewarm, soapy water and a soft sponge or microfiber cloth. Avoid using rough scrubbing sponges, as these can easily damage the inscriptions or decorations.

For stubborn coffee or tea stains, mix a little baking soda with warm water and gently rub the stain with this paste. Then rinse thoroughly and let it dry.

Storage

It also helps to protect the mugs by storing them properly. It is a good idea to keep soft paper or a thin cloth between the mugs that are stacked on top of each other so that the decoration or painting does not rub off.

It is also advisable to avoid sudden temperature changes, as pouring a very hot drink directly into a cold mug can cause cracks in the product. If you notice any damage or hairline cracks, do not use the product any longer, as it may leak along the crack and may also pose a safety risk.

With a little care, unique ceramic mugs with fan decorations can retain their beauty and useful value for a long time. Careful cleaning, proper storage, and following the manufacturer's instructions guarantee that our favorite mugs will remain our loyal companions in everyday life for a long time!
